Marinas at The Pearl-Qatar

The Pearl-Qatar’s three large marinas, Porto Arabia, Costa Malaz, and Viva Bahriya, bring a world-class range of boating and recreational facilities to residents and their guests.

Each of the three marinas offer outstanding services and amenities, which are fully accessible to all residents and boat owners, creating a true marina lifestyle where genuine waterfront living is possible.  The design of each marina creates a very close harmony between residents and their boats, producing a vibrant and fun focal meeting point for everyone living at The Pearl-Qatar.

Beginning in 2010 there will be regular boat displays, exhibits and celebrations taking place at various locations around the three marinas.

Porto Arabia

The largest marina of the Pearl-Qatar, and the first to become fully operational, the marina at Porto Arabia can support up to 782 vessels.  Seventy-five berths are designed to service yachts between 30 to 60 meters in length.  Special berths are also available to accommodate mega yachts as large as 80 meters or more.

The marina at Porto Arabia also provides convenient pedestals at each pier which allow for the transfer of water, electricity, telephone, TV, fax and internet. Mega yachts will be able to connect directly into the vacuum sewage system at their individual berth.

Boat owners can enjoy one of the longest luxury retail waterfronts with numerous high-end boutiques and restaurants to choose from. Additionally, boat owners will be able to cater private dinner parties easily on their boat through these high-end restaurants. 
Taxi and ferry services will be available to virtually all parts of The Pearl, as well as to various parts of Doha.

The offices for the Harbor Master at the Pearl-Qatar are located in the principal marina of Porto Arabia.

Costa Malaz

This marina is located on the northern bay to take advantage of the prevailing northerly winds and deep water. The location and arrangement of the marina, on the edge of an exclusive and secluded neighborhood of villas, is designed to minimize its impact on the bay and its residents.

Costa Malaz will provide 117 berths that can service vessels up to 15 meters in length.
                  
Viva Bahriya

Viva Bahriya features tasteful beachfront condominium living, offering a stretch of pristine sand beaches and a haven for water sports enthusiasts. The marina at Viva Bahriya is conveniently located inside the entrance on the west bank, with an accommodation capacity of 103 vessels with  lengths of up to 12 meters.
